Technical Director
Najmuddin Khaja. Ph.D., NRCC
Dr. Khaja Najmuddin received his doctorate from Kakatiya University in Telangana, India. Dr. Najmuddin has a State of New York Certificate of Qualification in Toxicology chemistry. He was the Senior Technical Supervisor at Lab Director at NX Prenatal. He developed proteomics assays on LCMS for preterm birth markers, which are now used nationwide.
Dr. Najmuddin has over 19 years of leadership experience, with specialties in immunoassay IVD kits reagents manufacturing and quality control of Beckmann Coulter top selling products. He provides technical, scientific, and administrative direction and for best practices, standardization, and process review.
Technical Supervisor
Nayyar Ahmed, Ph.D.
Dr. Ahmed brings a wealth of experience to the table with 4 years of clinical laboratory expertise and the establishment of more than 20 successful clinical laboratories in his short yet illustrious career. He holds a Doctorate in Immunology from Deakin University in Australia, where he specialized in allergic cascades. During his doctoral years, he was honored with several prestigious presentation awards from leading organizations in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, such as ASCIA and EAACI. Following his doctorate, Dr. Ahmed completed a postdoctoral fellowship program (2016-2019) at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States, with a focus on pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles as a primary author throughout his research career.
Before transitioning to molecular diagnostics in 2020, Dr. Ahmed worked briefly as an Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Pittsburgh. He then spent the next three years at Atlas Genomics and One Health Labs, where he played a crucial role in the successful validation of two high-complexity laboratories for COVID-19 testing during the pandemic. Additionally, he worked as a consultant for physician office laboratories, providing guidance on molecular diagnostics during the pandemic
In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Ahmed has been actively involved in humanitarian projects, working closely with non-profit organizations like Humanity First. Outside of work, he is a proud father to a beautiful little girl and a devoted husband.
